Welcome. I’m Mark J. Maciha, Executive Director of Permian Basin Regional Training Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Our amazing live-fire training facility is up and running with new courses being developed every day.

PBRTC is more than a training center for firefighters. We regularly provide training for Emergency Services, Oil/Gas/Mining Industry, Law Enforcement and Leadership/Management of all types. We’re in the business of preparedness and understand that each department, company and industry has its own unique “footprint” and training needs. That’s why we work with you, individually, to determine exactly the training your crew needs, for your establishment, on your schedule.
